Well Jimmie Johnson just won the race at Lowe's Motor Speedway in the #48 Lowe's Chevy. Imagine that! I just don't like him and I don't know why. I'm not a fan. Enough said!

It's no secret that I'm a FORD girl, but how about those Dodges running up front for most of the night. Those damn tire issues just killed my hopes of Matt Kenseth or Mark Martin coming out on top tonight. It would be nice to see an underdog win every now and then. Congrats to Denny Hamlin driving the #11 Fed Ex Chevy for his 8th place finish tonight in only his 2nd cup start. See, I don't bash all chevy drivers.

Good Night!

This post is long overdue! Let me rant my way to the end.

First off, NASCAR wants to limit the number of cars that one owner can have. That's BULL!! Look how long Jack Roush worked to get his first Championship. I'm just perturbed by the whole notion of limiting the number of teams an owner can have. If you give Ray Evernham another couple of years he will be right there with Roush & Hendrick. I'll be the first one to say that I'm a FORD girl, only by birth, but I really like Evernham and his organization. Luckily they can't fully enforce this rule until 2010 in order to meet the obligations of contracts and sponsor demands.

I think Brian France needs to pull his head out of his ass and do some restructuring. I can name several situations where rules were broken and nothing ever came of it. I think the sport would be even bigger if they could tie some credibility into it.

Congrats to Sadler on the pole for tomorrow nights UAW-GM 500! What a character! Always a joy to listen to Sadler talk and not to bad to look at either.

I hope the close of tomorrow night brings us a winner from the "ole school" genre. Come on...who didn't have tears in their eyes watching Dale Jarret and Mark Martin win the last two races.

Although I'm a FORD girl......I'm not a Kurt Busch fan anymore. Last year I always took up for him and stood behind him and enjoyed him winning the championship, but when he decided that Roush Racing wasn't good enough for him anymore I couldn't support him any longer. It's not even about being in a FORD, it's the fact that Jack Roush made him and he didn't appreciate any of it. I've actually laughed at his troubles during the Chase. I think Jack probably went back to the shop after that announcement and made sure that Kurt received the best equipment to work with! I hope Jack lets him out of his contract because he doesn't deserve to be apart of that organization. As far as him taking Rusty's place in the #2, well there is no comparison. He will never live up to Rusty!

Let's talk about Kasey Kahne. I've been a fan since he turned heads last year winning poles and almost winning his first race, but I never thought I would see him retaliate. I have no idea how he got the car to drive because it was only on 3 wheels. Way to go Kahne! That was hilarious!

Ummm.........I have a problem with Johnson and Kyle Busch finishing 1-2 at Dover, but failing post race inspection and then given some time for the shocks to settle. Yeah...if I remember correctly they didn't pass post race inspection at Las Vegas like that and they were fined and I think had some points taken away. Funny thing that nothing else was ever said except by a couple of the drivers.

As for next year, Reed Sorenson is a great driver and has talent, but putting him in a full-time Nextel Cup ride full-time next year is like throwing a mouse in a cage with a rattle snake. Martin Truex, Jr. is going to be pretty good if DEI can get it together. See, I don't bash all chevy drivers. Martin has had the time and growth he needed for the next level.

I wish Erin Crocker the best in her pursuits next year. I think she's had way to much pressure put on her way to early, but I've heard today that she's going to start the truck series next year. I think that was the way to go and I do commend her for toughing it out.

I think it would be awesome to be a driver and I think I could pull it off if I didn't have to work full-time, go to school full-time, and be a full-time mom.

Hopefully one day I can put all this education to good use and work for a prominent Nascar team. It's a dream, but Carl Edwards had a dream too and look where it took him. You go Carl Edwards!

Ok, now on to some real rants..........Graduate school is HARD! Duh! It'll pay off in the end. I'm 28 yrs old, no personal life in four years, but I have began to make exercise a part of my daily routine. I feel so much better when I work up a sweat. Obviously I'm not sweating doing anything else, lol.

Yours truly,
